My name is Lindsey Ljungberg. I am a sophomore at Keene State College studying Economics. Someday I hope to be an Environmental Economist. In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to music and travelling.
This semester I took a class called “De/Reindustrialization: Keene in the Global Economy”. This class looked at the manufacturing industry in Keene, New Hampshire and the reason for its decline. This class interested me because I was able to take what I know about economics and apply it to the real world. It was eye opening to see how the manufacturing industry has shaped the town that I call my second home.
